Hi

Default Postfix port on FreeBSD updated to 3.1; so shall i upgrade to this release or waiting your approval? Some google search results said that postfix has some backward compatibility features. Do iRedAPD break after this upgrade? I need your opinion.

Best regards

*) Postfix has great backward compatibility, so it should be fine to upgrade.
*) Upgrading postfix doesn't impact iRedAPD.

I can confirm that an upgrade to Postfix 3.1 works OK on FreeBSD 10.2.

You may want to add this line to main.cf:

compatibility_level=2

to silence the backward compatibility checking in Postfix 3.

It might be a good idea to fix all backward compatibility settings -- although postfix-3 still supports them.
