OK, you guys are giving me a lot pressure.
Here's some update:
*) iRedMail is feature-frozen, still waiting for cluster solution to catch up, so that we can get a stable iRedMail release to work with our cluster solution. DRAFT upgrade tutorial is available below, not huge update: http://www.iredmail.org/docs/upgrade.ir … 0.9.6.html
BTW, it's a load-balance cluster solution, it now works on CentOS 7, Debian 8, Ubuntu 16.04. Also works on Amazon AWS (VPC) with Ubuntu 16.04 as OS, unfortunately, only 1 availability zone is supported right now.
Plan for next iRedMail release (after upcoming 0.9.6) is integrating mlmmj for a real mailing list management tool, including a RESTful API interface running in a background.
*) iRedAdmin-Pro SQL edition is feature-frozen too, waiting iRedAdmin-Pro LDAP edition to catch up.
We have lots of improvements to the API interface.
2 features in iRedAdmin-Pro LDAP edition are pending and we're working on it (and already implemented in SQL edition):
- Allow normal domain admin to add/delete/update mail domains, including updating mailbox quota (assigned to this domain admin, and admin can freely balance domain quota between all managed domains). You can imagine it will be very helpful for hosting vendors.
- Domain ownership verification. If normal domain admin added a new mail domain, he/she is required to verify that he/she has required privileges to manage mail services of this domain. Possible verifications are: creating a plain text under web site (both file name and content must be same as given verify code), or creating a TXT type DNS record for this domain (with given verify code as value).
I hope it's worth for you guys to wait for a little longer. And sorry about the delay.
