- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release): 0.9.5-1
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: CentOS 7.3
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): LDAP
- Web server (Apache or Nginx): Apache
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro?
- Related log if you're reporting an issue: /var/log/maillog

Hi,

on a fresh install I get these error message in /var/log/maillog:

Jan  8 16:55:43 hostname roundcube: <a0q41ljj> PHP Error: LDAP: ldap_list failed for dn=domainName=example.org,o=domains,dc=example,dc=org. Bad search filter (POST /mail/?_task=mail&_action=autocomplete)

when I fill in the third and any following letter in to the To field and the auto complete search function starts, BUT I see all matched results as it should be.

What ldap filter do you have in Roundcube config file? try search 'filter' in /var/www/roundcubemail/config/config.inc.php.

Let's discuss here, that one was initially posted in 2015, we're in 2017 now.

Old thread contains link to a patch for Roundcube-1.1.2, may i know the Roundcube version you're running?

Its Roundcube-1.2.0, because its fresh.

I played with 'filter' in /var/www/roundcubemail/config/config.inc.php too, but it doesn't matter.

Not yet, thought it would be for Roundcube-1.1.X release.
