Hi there

I was updating iRedAdmin-Pro to the latest version but I'm getting an error when I try to run "bash upgrade_iredadmin.sh"

<<< ERROR >>> File /root/.my.cnf not found.
<<< ERROR >>> Please add mysql root user and password in it like below, then run this script again.

[client]
host=127.0.0.1
port=3306
user=root
password="plain_password"

I did try to create the /root/.my.cnf  with the right details, but after the update, I lose the panel template and I cannot login any more.

Never had this issue in the past, so I believe something is not quite right.
I understand that the update process should look in the old directory "iredadmin -> iRedAdmin-Pro-SQL-2.4.0" and get these setting from there?

iRedMail is updated to the latest version iRedMail-0.9.6. The problem is with iRedAdmin-Pro

I can see that there is a similar post here, but my case seems to be a little different.

Excuse me, what do you mean "panel template" here?

Any error message about "cannot login"?

Hi there!

Please ignore the template part. I've confused it with something else.

After the update I cannot login with my username, so I had to put the old version back.

Are we supposed to be asked for a "/root/.my.cnf" now?

YES.
