Topic: 1292, Incorrect datetime value: when adding domain in iredadmin

0.9.6 MYSQL edition.
Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS
Nginx

I've migrated from an old very stable iredmail installation to most recent version.

When adding a new domain in iredadmin, I get error 
     Error: (1292, "Incorrect datetime value: '0000-00-00 00:00:00' for column 'modified' at row 1")

Any help gratefully received.

Changing sql_mode in mysqld.cnf fixed this error, but is this correct and are there any side effects of this?
