I just don't understand why it wont receive mails, im pretty new to this and have seen many posts on the internet already, but none could really help me fix the issue.

Something wrong with Dovecot. Please check logs under /var/log/dovecot/ to get related error message.

So i checked its owner:

And it seems right... ? or am i missing something ?

Try this:

*) Stop Dovecot service.
*) Make sure file /var/run/dovecot/auth-userdb is absent. If exists, remove it manually.
*) Start Dovecot service.

Tried it, did not helped. Still cannot receive mail but can send it to others.
