Topic: Amazon Linux Unsupported?

I'm trying to install on a fresh install of Amazon Linux and am receiving the following error.  Is there a suggested workaround?  I believe it should work, since Amazon Linux is based on CentOS.  Thanks!

Release version of the operating system on this server is unsupported by
iRedMail, please access below link to get the latest iRedMail and a list
of supported Linux/BSD distributions and release versions.

Also, it's not clear from the documentation.. should Apache, PHP, etc. be installed prior to installing iRedMail?

Thanks!

Re: Amazon Linux Unsupported?

Amazon Linux is a derive from RHEL which is heavily modified so it's possible features won't work as Amazon Linux isn't supported directly by iRedmail.

Re: Amazon Linux Unsupported?

Although it's based on CentOS, but it uses too many custom packages.
You can use Debian/Ubuntu instead on AWS.
