Topic: Migrating into new iRedMail didn't worked completly

Good Morning everyone:

I tried to migrate from my old iRedMail Server (0.9.3, Debian 7, MySQL) to the new Server up there.

I used the same domain names, und exported / imported every MySQL Database except information_schema, perfomarmance_Schema and mysql. My PRoblem on the new server is the following: I can't login an ANY Mail Account. After reseting it on iRedAdmin it still doesn't work. Does anybody can give me a hint which logs I could check and where the error could be?

I tested via Roundcube, IMAP the login

Did you upgrade the database schema's?
iRedmail has changed the database a lot lately so the database tables should be updated to before they work.

You need to follow the steps to upgrade from 0.9.3 to 0.9.4.
Then from  0.9.4. to 0.9.5 and so on untill you reach v0.9.7.

After you did all of that the database should work again.


EDIT:

You only need to alter the database tables, nothing else as the newest iRedmail edition already did that for you.

Yes Wraptor, I upgraded all the shema, I saw the BIG changes, even with the python script. everything worked on this site.

Seems like you missed the column: "allow_nets"
