Hallo,

I've set up an Email-Server using the great iRedMail. Afterwards I wanted to test the Fail2ban config and realized that it isn't working for IPv6. Is there a way to activate Fail2ban as well for IPv6?

Thanks in advance!

Excuse me, what do you mean "it isn't working for IPv6"?

Sorry for being unclear: I've meant that IPv6 addresses don't get blocked even of they try to access the server with wrong passwords.

Is there a way to block IPv6 addresses as well?

Re: Fail2ban IPv6

Only if you do manual install from source, as IPv6 support was added to Fail2Ban in version 0.10. If you're looking for something more serious, check ConfigServer Security & Firewall, but that also needs a bit more cofigurations.
