Topic: iRedMail 0.9.7 not installing successfully in FreeBSD 11.1

==== Required information ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release):  0.9.7
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version:  FreeBSD 11.1
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): MySQL
- Web server (Apache or Nginx): Apache
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro? No
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
====

I have now installed this version 3 times from scratch and everytime it is giving the same error, I can not login with the postmaster account, When I try to login it says: "Connection to storage server failed". However, I can login to the iredadmin to create accounts, and I can successfully create accounts.

The only error I see in the logs is the below when I stop postfix:

This means Dovecot service is not running, please check its log file to figure it out.

Ports tree has a new Postfix release, and old parameter name "port" is not used and it prints this warning message to remind you. You can simply remove "port = xxx" line from all files under /usr/local/etc/postfix/mysql/.

I fixed this issue in latest development edition.

Re: iRedMail 0.9.7 not installing successfully in FreeBSD 11.1

Hi,

Thanks. I had actually already figured it out. I found the dovecot error which was:

Mar 07 16:16:49 imap-login: Fatal: Unknown ssl_protocols setting: Unrecognized protocol 'SSLv2'

So, I removed the !SSLv2 from the dovecot.conf file and it is working now.
