In my logs (and logwatch each morning), I have this line:
WARNING: Local version: 0.99.4 Recommended version: 0.100.0 (stable April 2018)

I did not find a tutorial for the update on the forum ....   sad

Please wait for Debian to offer its new version, then update with 'apt-get upgrade'.

Debian now offers an upgrade for clamav.
