Dear all,
I run iredmail on ubuntu (Lubuntu actually) And I noticed that after the last update the nginx.conf file changed, or there was created a new conf file and the old was renamed. It took me a while before I found that this was the issue, but when I tried to rename back to old configuration the nginx service did not start.

Anyone who has the same problem? Or do anyone have a proper config file they can post?

Regards Troika

Old nginx.conf (used to be ok)

user www-data;
worker_processes auto;
pid /run/nginx.pid;
include /etc/nginx/modules-enabled/*.conf;

events {
    worker_connections 768;
    # multi_accept on;
}

http {

    ##
    # Basic Settings
    ##

    sendfile on;
    tcp_nopush on;
    tcp_nodelay on;

    types_hash_max_size 2048;
    # server_tokens off;

    # server_names_hash_bucket_size 64;
    # server_name_in_redirect off;

    include /etc/nginx/mime.types;
    default_type application/octet-stream;

    ssl_prefer_server_ciphers on;

    # gzip_types text/plain text/css application/json application/javascript text/xml application/xml application/xml+rss text/javascript;

    ##
    # Virtual Host Configs
    ##

    include /etc/nginx/conf.d/*.conf;
    include /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/*;
}

#mail {
#    # See sample authentication script at:
#    # http://wiki.nginx.org/ImapAuthenticateW … ePhpScript

The current nginx.conf file (after updating ubuntu):
user www-data;
worker_processes 1;
pid /var/run/nginx.pid;

events {
    worker_connections 1024;
}

http {
    include /etc/nginx/conf-enabled/*.conf;
    include /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/*.conf;
}

It loads config files in these 2 folders, make sure you have proper config files in them.
