Topic: Accept incoming sender email addresses, change them and forward
Hi I just finished installing iRedMail-0.98 on a Centos 7.5 server.
I have a DNS domain setup on the internet, and have configured the iRedMail server's IP address set as the domain's MX record, and setup iRedMail's SPF and DKIM keys on the domain.
The DNS domain on the net (say, external.net) is different from the hostname of the iRedMail server (internal.local), and I need the iRedMail server to act as a forwarder for email sent from its internal, local domain, but to modify the sender email addresses to the external domain, and send the email to wherever it needs to go (convert sender email address from user@internal.local, user@server.internal.local to user@external.net, and forward)
The sender addresses wont be in the vmail addresses for external.net on the iRedMail server, please how do I go about this correctly?
Sorry for the newb questions but I would really appreciate pointers on how to do this.
