I have 2 centos 7 server

10.0.0.2    server 1
10.0.0.4    server 2

I used  PGSQL as backend and I want to make PGSQL Master-Master Replication
I user bucardo package to do Replication
and i use glusterfs to share /var/vmail/ with 2 servers

For Example, I create a user with server 1 and I can log in to server2 with that user or otherwise
it means users completely sync
but if I send email from server1 to server2
I just received that email on server1
I don`t know why I can`t receive it in other server

would you please help me?

thanks in advance

What do you mean send email "from server1 to server2"?

Mailboxes are synced between 2 servers with the glusterfs, sent and received emails (stored in Sent and INBOX folders) are supposed to appear on both servers.

i go to this url: https://10.0.0.2/mail    and login to mail2@server.com account
and i go to url: https://10.0.0.4/mail    and login to mail1@server.com account
after that
i sent test email from mail2@server.com to  mail1@server.com

but i didn`t received it

but if i send email from mail2@server.com to mail2@server.com

Re: Reviving Email Problem in Replication

Check Postfix and GlusterFS log files on both servers.

Email sent from mail1 to mail2 on 10.0.0.2  should be delivered locally on 10.0.0.2, but glusterfs should replicate / sync the email to 10.0.0.4.

in server 10.0.0.2 i execute this command for check glusterfs sharing:

1=>   cd /var/vmail
2=>   touch R1 R2 R3 R4 R5 R6

and in 10.0.0.4 i execute this command and i able to see the files:

1=>   ls -la /var/vmail
Resualt: R1 R2 R3 R4 R5 R6

and i thinks it`s work fine
i don`t know what should i do ?
do you have any advice please?

Re: Reviving Email Problem in Replication

Why not to use Dovecot Replication? I'm still on beginning of mail server management, but what are you doing seems like overly complicated workaround for task which has actual tools available.

i don`t know what is Dovecot ?
my senario is :
i have 2 iredmail servers with PostgreSQL back end
and i want to sync all my send or receive email in /var/vmail directory on my both servers

and my questions is:
does Dovecot Replication support my senario ?

Re: Reviving Email Problem in Replication

I think it should support it, but I didn't try it myself yet.

To see what the various programs are please refer to this document https://docs.iredmail.org/used.components.html

Yes. Dovecot is the POP3/IMAP/SMTP AUTH/SIEVE/... server running in iRedMail, Dovecot replication supports real-time two way mailbox sync, it's much easier than GlusterFS i guess.
