I want to block a particular relay host so that any mail sent to any domain or received which corresponds to that specific relay host gets immediately rejected.

- block it in iptables firewall?
- blacklist it globally with iRedAdmin-Pro?

Actually, under iRedAdmin-Pro, I have made blacklist entries for those relay host and reverse DNS names, but they are not effective as the relay host is the that corresponds to smtp relay of malicious host while the domain name is different.

Shall it work with Firewalld (CentOS 7.6) ?

Sure you can block them with firewall, it will save more system resource since firewall is the first entry for an email to enter your system.
