I am attempting to write a script that will print ount the contents of emails to a temp file and using a tutorial it tells me to postmap to etc/postfix/access. I don't have this table in this folder. Is it supposed to be there or do I have to make it. Postmap won't create the file

If it doesn't exist, you have to create it. Just follow the tutorial, and ask for help from the tutorial author.
