Topic: unreasonable virtual_alias_maps map expansion size Error

Users get the followingerror when sending mails to one of our mailing lists:

Mar 27 10:42:03 mailserver-vcn-01 postfix/cleanup[58625]: warning: 0A9F21096A05: unreasonable virtual_alias_maps map expansion size for <hidden email> -- deferring delivery
Mar 27 10:43:22 mailserver-vcn-01 postfix/cleanup[61776]: warning: 00233108216B: unreasonable virtual_alias_maps map expansion size for <hidden email> -- deferring delivery
Mar 27 10:43:55 mailserver-vcn-01 postfix/cleanup[61782]: warning: 7A4E2108216B: unreasonable virtual_alias_maps map expansion size for <hidden email> -- deferring delivery

The maillist currently has 421 members.

I already tried raising the virtual alias expansion limit:

[root@mailserver log]# postconf virtual_alias_expansion_limit
virtual_alias_expansion_limit = 2500

We're using iRedMail 0.9.8 OPENLDAP edition on Centos 7.6 with iRedAdmin-Pro-LDAP-3.0

I can see that the last e-mail sent to this mailinglist was on march 21st.
I can't see any relevant changes after march 21 in the admin log

Regards,
Luc

This is the correct parameter which controls the expansion limit.
Does it work after restarting postfix service?

No, it doesn't work. I also tried restarting iredapd.

No idea right now, it's supposed to work with virtual_alias_expansion_limit. sad
