Woothosting was purchased by AlphaRacks. Out of the blue, the "upgraded' all my VPS machines. They claim faster RAID and processors. Unfortunately they were 'forced' to change the IP address.
I've gone in to my domain host (GoDaddy) and updated the DNS records.
I've asked AlphaRacks to reset the Reverse DNS record.
My letsencrypt certificate appears to be 'confused' since I'm now showing "Not Secure" when I go to the IP of the mail server.
Other than the reverse PTR, what other adjustments do I need to make? Does this impact DKIM, for example?
Anyone know what I need to do to fix the letsencrypt certificates?
As an aside, the conversion on AlphaRacks part shows a total disregard for their customers. They failed to update the RPTR, sent an email to an email server that had no records pointing to it (thus the client couldn't be notified) and gave ZERO prior notice. Woohoo that I'm on a faster, better, whatever server, but TELL PEOPLE BEFORE YOU DO IT. Ok, rant over.
Thanks
Andrew
