I'm not sure exactly what is going on but whenever I send myself a message - from any email account including internal - it does not show up in the inbox on webmail, nor my local computer.
However I have no problem still sending emails, although they can take a couple of minutes to come through, but that isn't entirely unusual.

I've been examining the log files and it almost looks like postfix is deleting the email before dovecot get's a chance to file it in the users folder.

I could be going in totally the wrong direction but I'm at a complete loss.
One error has been corrected, dovecot told me it had stopped supporting pop3s, so gave me the following instructions:
doveconf: Warning: Obsolete setting in /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf:15: 'pop3s' protocol can no longer be specified (use protocols=pop3). to disable non-ssl pop3, use service pop3-login { inet_listener pop3 { port=0 } }
I have followed these instructions and it hasn't made any difference.

Here is an extract of the log file where mail arrives:

If anyone can decypher what on earth is going on, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm happy to post any config files or other logs that are needed, if required.

Many thanks all!

I have followed these instructions and it hasn't made any difference.

You did it wrong, please revert the /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf file generated by iRedMail.

- Did you modify any Dovecot settings after iRedMail installation? what are they?
- Any relevant error log in /var/log/dovecot/*.log?

Re: iRedMail has stopped receiving email - but still sends

I have made quite a lot of changes to the file. It has been working without incident for some time and then all of a sudden just stopped - I believe this was due to an update.
There were a couple of warnings in the log files which I resolved but it doesn't seem to have made a difference.

Most of the changes I made were are security (such as disabling SSL, TLS 1.0 & TLS 1.1), as well as forcing all connections through encrypted channels.
As I said, all was working fine until the dovecot update.

Can you tell me how to revert to the original file generated by iRedMail, as I don't seem to have anything in my /etc/dovecot folder which is any kind of reversion.
Once I've done this, I shall re-apply some of my changes, compare any differences and see  how things go.

Cheers,
John

Re: iRedMail has stopped receiving email - but still sends

- Bad practice that you didn't make a backup copy before modification. sad
- Any error/warning message in Dovecot log file RIGHT AFTER restarting dovecot service?
- Turn on debug mode in Dovecot and monitor its log files, if something goes wrong, Dovecot should log the detailed reason. FYI:
