Topic: DNS Record prroblem

Hi folks,

I made a post the other day about the issue with Lets Encrypt certificate anyway ive sorted that problem but im having a issue where DNS Record is not Found for mail.violetdragonsnetwork.co.uk and SPF and DKIM however it is in my BIND9 config which i host on D0. I can send mail but receiving is  very slow. Would anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

Thanks.

You may need to double check your BIND9 config files or zone files to make sure that DNS records are actually working.

Thanks for your reply. So i had someone from DigitalOcean to check the DNS Servers and can confirm that they are working so is ReverseDNS. My Mail Server shows that its also working. So maybe its a issue with Mailer DNS issues?

This could be due to greylisting which is enabled by default.

You can try disabling greylisting (https://docs.iredmail.org/manage.iredapd.html) and is the problem persists.

Thanks for your reply. That is something i disabled when this was happening. All problems has been solved and is working, it just stated working by itself so im guessing it was something on with the DNS Servers.

Thanks.

Jack.
