The mail/altermine package has been removed from the ports repositories.
The update of the system fails without it.

Can this port be removed or iredmail installation modified to work without it?

Best regards,

Re: altermine port in FreeBSD missing

You can disable altermime in /usr/local/etc/amavisd.conf:

1: Comment out this line:

#$defang_maps_by_ccat{+CC_CATCHALL} = [ 'disclaimer' ];

2: set path to altermime program to empty value:

$altermime = '';

3: restart amavisd service.

Thank you, Zhang.
Does it impact the functioning of the system in any major way?

Re: altermine port in FreeBSD missing

AlterMIME is used to insert disclaimer text at the bottom of message. If you don't need this feature, then no impact at all.
