Hi there,
I have a server running on ubuntu 18.04.2 with about 6 domains, about a total of 10 email accounts all up.
When setting up i followed these instructions: https://www.linuxbabe.com/mail-server/s … ains-nginx - so i have one main cert and then a few subordinate certs for each domain.
When i set this up it was a bit of an experiment but things have gone really well so i want to give the server a good resource bump to improve performance. I feel that doing this on freebsd will allow it to make the most of this extra resource.
Is there anything i need to look out for when shifting from linux to unix in terms of the migration instructions here -- https://docs.iredmail.org/migrate.to.ne … erver.html ?
Can i copy over the SSL certificates to the new server or do i need to get new ones?
I have customised postfix config a bit to use an upstream smtp relay for delivery, changes to allow more permissive delivery of emails etc to suit some requirements, can i copy and paste the config to the new server?
Will clients notice any disruption after the cutover and the new server answering their requests?
Thanks very much!
