I have a single user (my wife!) who has problems with roundcube.  It won't load her Inbox.

In the past I have deleted from her Maildir directory the file: dovecot.index.cache and let dovecot rebuild the file and 'poof' the mailbox will load.

I'm trying that again, but it isn't working.  Instead, the index file keeps growing (5-6 times it's former size).

Is it possible to delete the dovecot.index file as well and hope it rebuilds correctly?

Any other steps I can take?

Andrew

Re: dovecot indexes

It's ok to remove "dovecot.*" files in mailbox, but be careful that IMAP uids may be re-generated and your IMAP client will re-download all messages.
