Webmail has been working flawlessly until today. Now, the server is unreachable depending on the IP address I try and connect from. My IP address does not work, however my vpn’s addresses will. I can toggle back and forth between address and clearly see the results.
My first thought was Fail2ban, so I:
sudo fail2ban-client stop
With Fail2ban stopped, there is still the same issue. I cannot reach webmail from my IP address but I can from my vpn’s address. (Ironic that to use imap I have to use my address and can’t use vpn). What besides Fail2ban would be preventing a specific ip from connecting to webmail.
