After upgrading from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS to 18.04.3 LTS Roundcube is showing the raw PHP code from /opt/www/roundcubemail/index.php when viewed in Google Chrome 79 rather than showing the login screen.

When viewed in other browsers the following is shown:

Make sure you have php upgraded and the Apache php module, then restart apache service and try again.

Does my reply help a little? How about buying me a cup of coffee ($5) as an encouragement?

Hi Zhang,

Many thanks for the speedy reply.

Looked into upgrading PHP version and turns out it had already been upgraded during the dist upgrade but was not enabled.

Running the following commands solved the issue:

sudo a2enmod php7.2
sudo service apache2 restart
