Hi,
I was attempting to setup a new mailing list, I create the mailing list without any issue, but when it came time to add members, it sent the emails to the new members (again without problems) but once i replied to confirm the subscription, i got an error back (via email)
Command died with status 1: "/usr/local/bin/mlmmj-amime-receive". Command
output: Command /usr/bin/altermime doesn't exist or not executable, mail
delivery aborted
I checked and in fact altermime is not there, i checked if it was somewhere else in the system, not installed at all.
I figured, no problem, let me install it, i turned out that the port for altermime is deprecated https://www.freshports.org/mail/altermime/.
There is no package for it, and there is a way to install it via ports.
I could probably download the port as it was in august 2019 (At the point might have been still functional) but i rather not do that in my live system (without confirmation that it doesn't break anything).
Is there a simple and reliable way to get it installed it anyway?
Or, is there a way to not use altermime but allow mlmmjadmin to function?
Thank you.
