Topic: Memory requirements for small server?

This might be difficult to answer, but how much memory might be enough for a small server for about 20 users? I don't expect they will send or receive lots of emails or large attachments. Would 4Gb be enough?

If it helps, I've just setup a server (5 users) with 2GB RAM, 2CPU and 60GB HDD space. Your mileage may vary, however the key question is what kind of activity are your 20 users expected to do?

Not a huge amount, the occasional picture perhaps.

will you be able to increase any of the specs once the server is deployed? If so, start small (cheap) and then increase when resource contention occurs

4GB is recommended.
