You say that you uninstalled iptables. How?
Who is hosting your server?

I installed it myself.

No, what I mean is, is the server hosted by yourself (i.e. a machine sat in your living room connected to the internet via your ISP) or have you paid a company to provide you with a server which is sat in their data centre?

It is my server in my house that I installed iRedmail on.
I have my own domain name.

I recently did a fresh install of iRedMail on Debian. It came with nftable instead of iptables. At least with nftable, I had to add echo-request and echo-reply to the list of permitted ICMP types  and reload the firewall rules for ping to work. Hope this helps.
