Following instructions to implement last login track, do we have to select vmail database --before-- sending command to create sql table ?

Like:
mysql> use vmail;

Then:
mysql> CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `last_login` (

    `domain` VARCHAR(255) NOT NULL DEFAULT '',
