Please make sure you have correct DNS records for your mail domain name: https://docs.iredmail.org/setup.dns.html

is it correct?

I tried to telnet to your mail IP on Port 25 (SMTP) from my mail server. This connectivity failed with a timeout. This connectivity needs to work to receive emails from other mail servers.

I would double check the following in your case

1) Check correctness of the public mail IP address (google for "server public ip on linux shell" to see some way to figure out)
2) Check your network (firewalls, router ACLs, etc) if your environment allows you to receive traffic on Port 25 (SMTP)

The ip is correct.
I'll see about the port.

I checked if port 25 was open and it was!
Weird how it timed out for you.
(i might have done the wrong command)

Checking localhost is not sufficient to rule out any firewall issues. Please find below 2 links that diagnose your MX from a remote server. That can help you identify the problem.

https://dnschecker.org/mx-lookup.php?qu … aleemi.com
https://tools.dnsstuff.com/mstc

Both show your server as down at the very moment.
