Topic: new build, error 502 when going to iredadmin...
This is a new server build. I ran into some major problems with the old server that quickly became insurmountable.
the new server is a fresh Debian 10.6 install. the only things I have done are the basic config (install and configure sudo neofetch and git) I then cloned the git repo and installed iRedAdmin from the script. once that was done, I have a fully functional mail server. I was able to log in as postmaster, created a couple of accounts, and sent some test emails. all looks good.
We previously purchased iRedAdmin-pro so I promptly uploaded the latest version (iRedAdmin-Pro-SQL-4.2.tar.bz2), uncompressed it and ran ./tools/upgrade_iredadmin.sh
script ran fine, no errors. rebooted the server and ran some tests. I am able to send and recieve emails. mail clients (thrunderbird and M$ mail) are still able to connect to the server and send/recieve test emails and I am also able to get into the webmail client (Roundcube).
After all of this, I am not able to get into iredadmin. when I go to https://mymaildomain.com/iredadmin/ I get an nginx error 502 bad gateway... I'm not even sure where to start on this one. I get the feeling I installed things wrong, and I AM prepared to start over, but I'd really like to get this right.
