====

Hello! After IRedMail destroyed my firewall I'm asking the forums.
It is even possible to setup iRedMail, while keeping full control of NginX to setup subdomains and other services?

iRedMail works, and upon the need for subdomaias nginx breaks all over and doesnt read configs correctly when I try to move iRedMail to a subdomain. Some stuff about no port in upstream "php workers" in /etc/nginx/templates/fastcgi php.tmpl even though its right in conf-enabled. Which makes no sense.

Are you supposed to run it in a VM? Everything I tried doesnt work or breaks all my progress. Upon installing IRM it works, but changing 1 little thing breaks it.

iRedMail is designed to be deployed on a fresh/clean server OS, if you need extra features, please do it AFTER iRedMail installation.
