The installer that I am using was downloaded 4 days ago from the website. Seeing the above errors while trying to install. I transferred the installer to the EC2 instance via Filezilla, extracted it in the home directory and ran the installer. Please advice.

Re: Error installing iRedMail

Looks to be a corrupted installer/file. I recommend you download the tarball from within the VM itself (use curl or wget), and try again.

Re: Error installing iRedMail

For Red Hat 8.3 support, you need the latest development edition:
https://github.com/iredmail/iRedMail/ar … master.zip

Or, wait for next stable release which will be announced shortly.

Re: Error installing iRedMail

Thanks, downloading the tarball from within the VM worked. I then applied the patch highlighted here:
https://github.com/iredmail/iRedMail/co … 0c99fb11b7

I was able to proceed with the installation but now I am getting the below error:

CentOS-8 - AppStream                                                                                                                                                                                          25 kB/s | 7.6 kB     00:00
Errors during downloading metadata for repository 'AppStream':
  - Status code: 404 for http://mirror.centos.org/$contentdir/8/ … repomd.xml (IP: 13.233.140.107)
Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'AppStream': Cannot download repomd.xml: Cannot download repodata/repomd.xml: All mirrors were tried
[ INFO ] Checking configuration file: /home/ec2-user/iRedMail-1.3.2/config ...[ INFO ] NOT FOUND. Launching installation wizard.
/home/ec2-user/iRedMail-1.3.2/dialog/config_via_dialog.sh: line 44: dialog: command not found
[ INFO ] Exit.

Is this something to do with iRedMail referencing incorrect repos and will this be fixed in the stable release or is it something else?

Could you please share the tentative release date of the next stable release?

Re: Error installing iRedMail

- Are you trying with a CentOS 8 or RHEL 8? Why it shows "CentOS-8 - AppStream" repo name?
- If you're trying on RHEL 8, please download the latest development edition and NO PATCH required:
https://github.com/iredmail/iRedMail/ar … master.zip

I am doing the installation on RHEL 8.3; not sure why the error says CentOS-8

Better wait for some more days until we announce the new iRedMail release 1.4.0, it supports RHEL 8.x very well. Or, you can download the lates development edition and try it:
