What issues could I run into if I proceed with a distribution upgrade? Ubuntu 18.04LTS -> 20.04LTS.

Good evening,

Take this as anecdotal, but I had few issues going from 18.04 to 20.04, and that was before the transition to Python 3.  With an appropriate backup, it should be a pretty smooth process.

It's pretty easy now since all Python applications have been migrated to Python 3.
