Topic: Outlook not downloading latest emails

==== REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER ====
- iRedMail version: 1.3
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: UBUNTU 2018
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL):
- Web server (Apache or Nginx): NGINX
====

I have been running iredmail for some months (free version)... and it has been working fine.
I download the emails into outlook and that too works fine.

However, I recently upgraded to version (possibly from 0.9.4) 1.3 and now although outlook doesnt throw any errors out, it no longer downloads the emails from the server.

I can access them through roundcube though.

Actually the emails will download if I select the inbox folder in outlook, select another folder, then select the inbox folder again. That is the onlyway to kick things into gear and get outlook to download the emails.

They dont download using the send/receive when I first open outlook or when I run send/receive when outlook is open.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

I did repair each email account in outlook but that doesnt solve the issue.

Any ideas appreciated. Ima newbie so may not understand technical stuff that well.

Many thanks

Re: Outlook not downloading latest emails

- Does your server use a valid ssl cert?
- Any related Postfix/Dovecot log lines generated when you click "Send/Receive" on Outlook?
