Here is an update. I just ran apt-get update and apt-get upgrade on this fresh install of Ubuntu 18.04. Then I ran bash iRedMail.sh again and now I see these messages.

root@mlr:~/iRedMail-1.4.0# bash iRedMail.sh
[ INFO ] Checking configuration file: /root/iRedMail-1.4.0/config ...[ INFO ] Found, but not finished. Launching installation wizard.
/root/iRedMail-1.4.0/dialog/config_via_dialog.sh: line 44: dialog: command not found
[ INFO ] Exit.

What am I doing wrong?

Finally got the install to work.
I deleted the install files that I had downloaded to my PC and then uploaded to the server via FTP.
I then used wget https://github.com/iredmail/iRedMail/ar … 4.0.tar.gz to download the install files directly to the server. The install ran smoothly from there.
