Topic: Transfer folder with letters to another section

Good day!
iRedMail installed on CentOS 7. When installing OS, an automatic disk layout was selected, as a result of which a total of 50 GB was charged under the root section. During the operation of the postal server, it turned out that this disk space is extremely small. The main part of the disk was allocated under home.
--------------------- Disk Space Begin ------------------------

Filesystem               Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
devtmpfs                 3.9G     0  3.9G   0% /dev
/dev/mapper/centos-root   50G   27G   24G  53% /
/dev/sda1               1014M  219M  796M  22% /boot
/dev/mapper/centos-home  500G   33M  500G   1% /home

---------------------- Disk Space End -------------------------

Advise how correctly without losing data to transfer a folder to store vmail1 letters from the root section to the home section.

Re: Transfer folder with letters to another section

- Stop postfix/dovecot/nginx services.
- Move /var/vmail to a big disk partition. Note: make sure the new directory and its all parent directories are accessible by postfix/dovecot.
- Create a symbol link back to /var/vmail.
