Topic: configure Gmail client

I am trying to configure Gmail to pull mail via pop3.

I tried many settings.   When I tried port 995 and use SSL I got
Unable to establish secure SSL connection to myallysrv.us[ Help ]
Server returned error: "SSL error: No path found from the leaf certificate to any root. Maybe an intermediate certificate is missing?"

Indeed sslchecker.com reported a missing root cert.

I resolved that but still get the same error.

Has anyone used Gmail as a mail client via pop3?

Re: configure Gmail client

You must configure Dovecot to load correct ssl cert + key + ca files.

ssl_ca =
ssl_cert =
ssl_key =

According to the Gmail error message, you don't have correct files loaded in Dovecot.
