Topic: webmail fail to login
REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER:
iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release): 1.4.0 PGSQL edition
Deployed with iRedMail Easy or the downloadable installer? downloadable installer
Linux/BSD distribution name and version: focal Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): PGSQL
Web server (Apache or Nginx): Nignx
Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro? No
[IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
I installed ired for first time based on official doc but after reboot it didn't start.
So I just installed ired on a pure and fresh server for second time based on this toturial. https://www.linuxbabe.com/mail-server/u … tallation. I configured to use ssl certificates Nginx and Dovecot.
I saw roundcube and sogo can't login. searched and i did everything told in this link. https://docs.iredmail.org/upgrade.dovecot.2.2-2.3.html
after that an error occurred in starting dovecot that it said about duplicate listener. so i solve that by comment old-stats section in dovecot conf file. Also somewhere else i found that adding "auth_username_format = %n" to dovecot conf can fix.
I didn't change anything else.
unfortunately those did not solve the problem and now roundcube and sogo can't login.
I also can't login with POP3 and IMAP from my phone Gmail app.
Just can login in iredadmin as postmaster although I set another global admin account too.
