Hello,
I should migrate Iredmail 1.4.2 (mariaDB)  on CentOS 8.4 to  alma/rocky linux
my VM Hosting Provider suggests Almalinux ...
On the official iredmail download pages only Rocky Linux appear
But in the Changelog https://github.com/iredmail/iredmail/bl … /changelog
I read that from 1.4.0:
* Supports new distribution releases:
        + CentOS 8 Stream. All backends are supported: MariaDB, PostgreSQL, OpenLDAP.
        + AlmaLinux 8. All backends are supported: MariaDB, PostgreSQL, OpenLDAP.
        + Rocky Linux 8. All backends are supported: MariaDB, PostgreSQL, OpenLDAP.
          Tested with Rocky Linux 8.3 rc1.

Is really Almalinux supported ?  what should I trust  github changelog or  iredmail site ?

thanks for all

GitHub is the pre-release, so if on Git it says it is supported, then you can trust it.
New releases get publiched from the latest git repos.

Re: migrating from centos to alma or rocky linux

Please go Rocky Linux. We will drop Alma soon, and we didn't list Alma as supported on the download page:
