Dear all,
we are using the CALDAV + CARDDAV Plugin of roundcube, and caldav currently only works with 1.4 (for specific reasons, we cannot use SOGo as webmail). Right now, iRedmail comes with RC 1.4, but RC 1.5 has been released a month ago, and looking at the release notes, iRedmail seems upgrade to a newer RC version without much "ado"/writing about it in the changelog.

is there a way to "pin" roundcube or should we deploy a separate RC 1.4 LTS installation (RC logs in via imap to the iRedmail mailstack).

kind regards

Re: exclude roundcube major upgrade from iRedmail upgrade

- We cannot take care of third-party Roundcube plugins, so we won't stick to RC 1.4 or any version.
- We will upgrade to RC 1.5.1 in upcoming iRedMail release.

You may use a different SQL database and web directory for RC 1.4 in this purpose.

Re: exclude roundcube major upgrade from iRedmail upgrade

Hi Zhang,

thanks. Do you already know when the next upcoming iRedmail will be released? I just found out some days ago that there are caldav/carddav versions which seem to be compatible with RC 1.5.X (still need to test)

We will switch to iRedmail in the first week of January (BTW we bought a pro license, which is really worth it), and if RC 1.5 will be released soon (e.g. in the coming weeks), we could save ourselves the time to test everything with RC 1.4. and could immediately use RC 1.5.

kind regards,

Very soon.
You'd better contact the plugin vendors to make sure it works with the latest Roundcube.
