Hello!

I have been running an iRedmail server with no trouble for quite some time. I upgrade the packages using apt on a semi regular basis. I have received emails using the server today, but a couple hours ago I noticed that I was unable to reach the iredadmin page, roundcube, or send/receive email. I rebooted the server and the related services seem to be running. Could someone point me in the direction of which logs to look at to try and pinpoint the problem? There are a handful of failed login attempts in /var/log/maillog, which I do not recognize. There are also a handful of errors in my Dovecot log file, so far I haven't found anything conclusive. I will attach some tails of the logs to check out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!

Re: Unable to Reach iRedadmin, Roundcube, or Send/Receive mail via IMAP

I figured this out. My IP was banned by fail2ban. I was trying to add a client mailbox with the MacOS mail client and the user didn't remember the password. After several tries, I went to reset the password in the admin panel and noticed it wasn't reachable (because the IP was banned). If I had waited an hour (I think?) it would have unbanned, but I just used the fail2ban client to unban the IP. All is working as intended now!

Hope this helps someone down the road! Take care!
