Today I downloaded and installed the latest iredmail version.
Why iredmail install the OpenSSL?
Due to OpenSSL I have issues when I install the certbot

I don't understand the situation. What issue do you have with openssl?

Probably, just because it simply needs to be able to handle SSL?

I don't see why this should be an issue with the cert bot. Open SSL is used almost everywhere, so the cert bot needs to be able to deal with it. At least, my cert bot machine can do.

I’m using the iredmail in the last 3 years without issues, but now I lost the connection with POP and SMTP without explanation.

I formatted a new server with Rocky 8.5 and Certbot.

I made tests and sometimes give me the certbot ssl and other times give me the openssl.

I can’t understand the error.

It's not clear what you did exactly, can you provide logs? What's the output of journalctl -xe ? Is selinux enabled (run sestatus to show)?
