Re: iRedMail-1.6.0 has been released, and introduce Spider Email Archiver

Hello,

thank you for the upgrade.

A question about compatibility with php8.1, which is by default used by Ubuntu 22.04: roundcube 1.5 is not fully compatible with php8.1, specifically with the LDAP address book, which is by default configured when using roundcubemail with iRedmail (see also https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/issues/8151)

Luckily we don't use the Global LDAP address book, but before we upgrade our server to 22.04, I would like to know if everything else is working well (sogo, iRedmailPro to which we have a subscription, spamfilter, etc)

kind regards

Better wait for Roundcube 1.6.0 stable release, it's now in RC stage and should be stable in few months.

Thanks as always for the new release.

One question: the upgrade instructions have a fairly lengthy sequence of changes for PostgreSQL users, but nothing at all for other databases. I'd just like to confirm that as MariaDB users, we have no database changes to make?

Perhaps you might put something in the docs that clarifies this, eg :

For PostgreSQL backend
blah
blah

For other backend databases
No changes required
