Topic: How to block outgoing spam emails

==== REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release): 1.5.2
- Deployed with iRedMail Easy or the downloadable installer? installer
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: UBUNTU 20
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): LDAP
- Web server (Apache or Nginx): NGINX
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro? YES
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
====

A little background: One of our email accounts was compromised and was used to send thousands of emails in a matter of minutes. The issue was resolved by just changing the user's password. I know that the only way to prevent this is to ensure users don't get their password compromised, but that's out of my control.

Just wondering what's the  best way to block, quarantine or delete outgoing spam emails. It looks like this question was asked a few years back in this forum, but the links on that post no longer work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: How to block outgoing spam emails

- In iRedAdmin-Pro, set global or per-domain or per-user spam policy to do spam scanning and quarantine detected spams.
- Ensure all users have strong passwords.
