Hello,
if I try, to login to my iredadmin with the credentials found in the iRedMail.tips I get an error message saying, that my username or password is incorrect. I also have installed SoGO, but there I have the same issue. If I try to go on my-hostname/mail, I get an error 502 Bad Gateway. I don't know which log files I should attach here, so please tell me, which ones you need!
Thanks for your help

Re: Incorrect Username or Password, but it is correct?

*) Is this a newly installed mail server? If yes, did you reboot server to make sure all email services are running?
*) Any error in /var/log/syslog, /var/log/maillog, /var/log/dovecot/*.log?

Re: Incorrect Username or Password, but it is correct?

*) Yes, it is newly installed. And yes, I rebooted it.
*) /var/log/dovecot/dovecot.log has an error:

Dec  7 16:42:44 h2983367 dovecot: stats: Error: (stats-reader): didn't reply with a valid VERSION line: EXPORT#011global

and the maillog has

Dec  7 16:46:01 hostname postfix/error[3805]: 4NS1pd4JSLz386bn: to=<root@hostname>, orig_to=<root>, relay=none, delay=0.01, delays=0.01/0/0/0, dsn=4.4.1, status=deferred (delivery temporarily suspended: connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10026: Connection refused)

Re: Incorrect Username or Password, but it is correct?

That means amavis is not running (anymore)

Aswell, when it is freshly installed, why did you choose debian 10? debian 11 is listed as supported OS, 10 isn't listed at all anymore

If amavis crashes/does not start, a common problem is plain RAM issues, since iredmail requires 4GB ram at least to work

The dovecot log shows a common non-error (this line is caused by netdata and has no impact)

Re: Incorrect Username or Password, but it is correct?

Hey,
thanks for your reply.

*) First, I chose Debian 10 a while ago and haven't got around to upgrade the system yet.

*) I checked the status of amavis with

systemctl status amavis

and found this error:

Dez 08 14:53:41 HOSTNAME amavis[1037]: (!!)TROUBLE in pre_loop_hook: Timeout::_run: check: no loaded plugin implementsDez 08 14:53:41 HOSTNAME amavis[1037]: (!)_DIE: Suicide () TROUBLE in pre_loop_hook: Timeout::_run: check: no loaded p

The RAM shouldn't be a problem, because there is enough free.

Re: Incorrect Username or Password, but it is correct?

This is caused by SpamAssasin.

Try to force-update and recompile SA, then restart amavis

How much RAM does this server have?

Re: Incorrect Username or Password, but it is correct?

@Cthulhu ok, I'll try

@ZhangHuangbin The server has 8GB, where 2GB are used, so 6GB are free

Re: Incorrect Username or Password, but it is correct?

As @Cthulhu suggested, please run "sa-update" to update SpamAssassin rule files first. Without rule files, SpamAssassin and Amavisd will stop running.
