Sometimes we got our mail servers banned. But besides the reason, my question is: If they are listed in whitelist IPs, why iredmail pro is ignoring that and ban the IPs listes there?

banned by iredmail system (fail2ban?). the thing is, does not matter which reason iredmail or whatever decide to put one ip in ban list, it need to bypass the whitelisted ips. and this is not happening.

Bans always have a reason.

So, what is causing the ban?

If it's banned by Fail2ban, you can whitelist it in /etc/fail2ban/jail.local, parameter "ignoreip =".
