Topic: Server migration from 0.99 to new server with new IP : How-to

Hello,

I have to migrate to a new server, with a new IP adress and new OS.
I thought I would re-install the same version (0.99-1.00), but it looks like installing old versions is no longer an option.
I also do not have the 1.00 installer since I upgraded from older version manually.

The two docs I refer to are:

Done and working :
Set up FQDN
Install Latest Version
Restore VM/VM1
Restore all SQL Backups but the SQL one (don't)
Iredadmin UP and RUNNING, latest versions, with all domains and users showing.


To Do / Not working :
Let'sCrypt instead of the self signed certificate
Roundcube Webmail, Login Ok but no mails showing (System Error / general).

There have been some upgrades in the SQL Structure in the latest versions. Not sure where to search.

Still stuck with the Roundcube server error,
iredadmin is running fine

downgrading roundcube 1.6
does not seem to be an option ?

Which log file should I look into ? Re-install the whole sytem ?

UP AND RUNNING !

- had to update the SOURCE server manually step-by-step, skipped 'optional' changes
- had to manually set some variables and update DB due to missing columns/Fields
- one error due to user quota
- Verify that all services are running fine and checked all Log files :
mail.log
auth.log
dovecot
etc.
- Letscrypt SSL Ok (self signed KO for Firefox for example)
