Topic: Some problem upgrading iRedOS-0.6.0 to iRedMail-0.7.0

I am currently upgrading my iRedOS-0.6.0 (mysql backend) to iRedMail-0.7.0.

I have update the HOTFIX for 0.6.0 as show below

But when trying to upgrade to 0.7.0. I encounter some error saying "Unknown column 'storagenode' in 'field list'". It is newsly added to /etc/dovecot-mysql.conf and /etc/postfix/mysql_virtual_mailbox_maps.cf.

I notice mailbox.storagenode is not in my mysql database. I can manually create the column but it was not mention in the upgrade tutorial. I have found out this issue from below thread.

Another issue is I cannot send out email using 3rd party email client, no problem using the webmail thou. I cannot send out using Evolution and it will show error "Sender address rejected: not owned by user" in my /etc/log/maillog. This issue can be solve my removing the 'reject_sender_login_mismatch' in /etc/postfix/main.cf. Is this due to the new SQL query in /etc/postfix/mysql_sender_login_maps.cf?

Just test virus and spam email on iRedMail-0.7.0. It can block the virus and spam but it will no more send notification email to www@xxx email account as before...Is there any setting I need to change?

That's strange, because iRedMail-0.6.0 (shipped in iRedOS-0.6.0) has column 'storagenode':

Damn. I was using iRedOS-0.5 upgrade to iRedMail-0.6.0 and now to iRedMail-0.7.0. Maybe that is the reason missing mailbox.storagenode. tongue
But I don't think there is update to add mailbox.storagenode in the tutorial from 0.5 to 0.6, right?

You are right, i aporogize for the missed upgrade steps.

About the reject_sender_login_mismatch issue, is there a way that i keep it with iRedMail-0.7.0?
About the virus/spam email alert, it will not send to www@xxx?

Since you use different mail address for smtp auth and 'Reply-To:' header, you should remove this setting.

About the virus/spam email alert, it will not send to www@xxx?

Search 'warn' in amavisd.conf and you will find them.

For the virus/spam email alert, I have change all the root\@$mydomain to www\@$mydomain inside /etc/amavisd.conf to work. As far as I know the default admin email account for iRedMail is www but not root and before upgrading to 0.7.0 the default setting in amavisd.conf is root\@$mydomain!!!
