Topic: DMARC verifification on incoming emails

Hello all,

I've been looking for a solution to have all incoming emails checked against the DMARC record of the domain that sent it and have it either quarantined or flagged with a custom header mark so email clients can check for this.

I found a nice workaround over here (www dot linuxbabe dot com/mail-server/opendmarc-postfix-ubuntu) however it's pretty cumbersome when you have to take into account the iRed updates and check if nothing has changed that could affect the entire configuration.

Is there something that is already build in iRedmail or will it be available in a future version?

Thank you
Erwin

OpenDMARC is almost dead and we have no plan to integrate it in iRedMail, but you can use it since it's still working.

SpamAssassin has dmarc plugin too.

No plan shortly.

By the way, SpamAssassin 4.0 ships a builtin DMARC plugin, but most linux distros still offer SpamAssassin 3.4.x.

That is good to know. I don't want to deviate from the standard builds, as upgrades are always a problem then.

Thank you for the feedback.
